Audrey Hepburn's Speedy 25

My good friend, Tukky, mentioned today that she recently acquired a Louis Vuitton classic Speedy. This image of Audrey Hepburn with her LV Speedy 25 at an airport comes to the top of my mind. Speedy 25 is such a great bag, always stylish and classic, just like the way Audrey Hepburn has been.

Good choice, Tukky!

Tod's Mocasino Country Club

It's the middle of rainy season here in Bangkok, and it is not a good time for all my Tod's Gommini shoes... they can stand some splashes of water on a yacht deck, but not the wet streets of Bangkok.

Among these non water proof shoes is the the Tod's Mocasino Country Club that I recently picked up. They are one of my favorite pairs... so it is time for them to be put away, see you again in the summer.

CÉLINE Cabas Tote

I am so in love with this Céline Cabas Tote. The lambskin is so soft, the caramel color is my favorite, and the orange base is a nice touch. It is so calling my name....

The other day, I stopped by at the Celine shop in Bangkok (at Gaysorn Plaza), there is one in horizon shape, similar color but no orange trim. There is also another one in red. They are so beautiful.

Hermes Kelly Double Tour Bracelet

Sometime it takes a while to get use to new items. Even the moment you purchase it you know exactly how are you going to wear it.

Like this Hermes Kelly Double Tour bracelet for me, it takes months for to break in. Maybe because I like wearing my Hermes Cape Cod Double Tour watch almost everyday, so there was no time for me to get used to the bracelet (how can you wear double tour on two hands). But once I put down the watch, and found the right outfit to go with this bracelet, I can't stop wearing it.

Always in Style: LV Alma in Monogram Canvas

When thinking about the classic Louis Vuitton city bags, the iconic Alma in Monogram canvas comes to the top of my mind. Its simple shape, perfectly-sized handle, and the design that allows it to open all the way down makes the Alma both stylish and practical.

What about your opinion?

BOF Favorite: Street Shooting Man by Tommy Ton

A photoblogger Tommy Ton captured unique styles of these men during the last New York Fashion Week.

The selection of photos here reflects my current tastes in mixing pattern, bold colors, military jackets, layering (even it is not for Bangkok's weather) and classic bags.

A man with Ralph Laurence's Navajo prints coat. Cool contrast with a red brick wall.
Always unique in his individual style, Robert Rabensteiner of L'Uomo Vogue.

Fun fur gloves and personalized Goyard bag.

Another green and Goyard tote combination.

A double-breasted trench with a fur trapper hat.

Vintage Louis Vuitton bag to finish the look.

A perfect layering: demin shirt, cardigan, wool vest and a military jacket.

Stylish Man: Lapo Elkann

A very stylish man, Lapo Elkann, a New York-born Italian industrialist, currently works for Fiat Automobiles. Vanity Fair listed Lapo in its Best Dressed Hall of Fame of 2009.

I admire his style of classic italian with touch for bold colors.

Wish List: Vintage Glasses

I have been looking for a new pair of reading glasses, particularly in a vintage black or tortoise tone, a pair of Tom Ford's would be nice. But it is so difficult to find a pair that suit my face.

Classic picture of Yves Saint Laurent in Paris in 1957, the day before the opening of his first collection for Christian Dior. He looks so stylish in this dapper suit and these glasses.

Check Out: The Best Tea in the World

I am a coffee person, but I also truly enjoy drinking tea.

Mariage Frères is my favorite tea house and, in my opinion, is the best tea in the world. A cup of Mariage Frères tea with sconces would make an afternoon so perfect.

I have quite a few Mariage Frères tea in my collection. And these are my three favories:

Marco Polo (flovered black tea with Chinese and Tibetan fruits and flowers, brilliant bouquet smell)
Thé à l'Opéra (green tea enhanced with fragrance of red berrries and spices)
Black Orchid (smooth black tea with spicy vanila)

A cup of Black Orchid at home on a Sunday afternoon :-)

BOF Favorite: Monogram Vernis Animaux Collection

Another entry about LV items for this month.

My last trip to Louis Vuitton shop, I spotted these cute coin purses. It is the new Monogram Vernis Animaux collection being released in 2010 to celebrate the Valentine’s day.

The collection inspiration is from Gaston Vuitton’s wife who used to run a toy store on Avenue Marceau from 1945 to 1970. Materials are mix between Monogram Vernis, Monogram Canvas and snake skin, and they come in six different designs including bird, rooster, rabbit and squirrel.

They are so cute!

Collaboration between Marc Jacob and artist Julie Verhoeven, the Conte de Fees collection brought the magic of fairly land with mythical animals in the mix of signature LV patterns.

BOF Favorite: LV Backpacks

Will backpack made a comeback this summer? Or maybe it has never left the fashion scene?

I am not a big fan of backpack. Eventhough I like the fact that a backpack adds an interesting element to your back, but it messes up your shirt and jacket you wearing.

These are the backpacks from Louis Vuitton Men Spring/Summer 2010 collections that I adore.
